C.P. Du Toit was raised in Northern California but spent six years as an expatriate in Scotland, South Africa, and Australia. A born storyteller, she has been writing poetry and short stories since she was a child. She currently lives in Philadelphia with her husband and their two black cats. A Certain Slant of Light is her debut novel.
